3D Product Animation in Vadodara
Show people what your product can do.
Some products can’t be understood from a photo. The mechanism is hidden, the parts are inside, or the function needs movement. We make 3D product animations and visuals that show the design, the parts and how it all works, clearly enough for a buyer to get it in seconds.
Patel Software creates 3D product animation in Vadodara, Gujarat: exploded views, cutaways, how-it-works films and still renders made from your CAD files, or from drawings and photos, so buyers and dealers understand a product in seconds. We serve businesses across Vadodara and its industrial estates (Makarpura, Por, Nandesari, Savli and Waghodia), across the rest of Gujarat, and remotely across India.
Why some products are hard to explain
A photo shows one angle, one moment, from the outside only.
Plenty of products need nothing more. With others, the real reason to buy is something a photo simply can’t show:
- You can’t see the internal parts in the finished product.
- A mechanism is hard to explain in one still image.
- How the parts fit together isn’t clear from outside.
- Features need context to make sense.
- What the product does matters more than how it looks.
Not every product needs animation. If good photos already answer your customers’ questions, they may be the smarter spend.
Video showcase
Product animation, moving.
Three kinds of film, each with its own job: introduce a product, show how it works, and show how it goes together. Films get added to this page as our portfolio goes up.
So what is 3D product animation?
A digital copy of your product, filmed by a camera that can go anywhere.
We build (or adapt) a three-dimensional model of the product, give it realistic surfaces and lighting, then move the camera and the parts to tell a story. Every stage adds something the viewer will see in the finished film.
-
01
Model
The product’s shape, built or adapted from CAD or references.
-
02
Materials
Surfaces: metal, plastic, glass, fabric, finish.
-
03
Lighting
Light that brings out shape and shows off detail.
-
04
Camera
Where the viewer stands, and how they move around.
-
05
Animation
Parts and products moving through the story.
-
06
Render & edit
Frames rendered, then edited into the final film.
Product beauty films and launch videos
Present the product as if it’s on a stage.
A beauty film is about design: shape, proportion, materials, light. It’s often made for a launch, a homepage or a campaign. What makes one work isn’t effects. It’s holding back.
- Pacing
- Time for the eye to settle.
- Composition
- The product in focus, not the effects.
- Camera movement
- Purposeful, never restless.
- Visual hierarchy
- One idea per shot.
Exploded-view animation
Take it apart, no screwdriver needed.
An exploded view pulls chosen parts apart so viewers can see what’s inside and how the pieces relate. Handy for product presentations, design reviews, sales meetings and explaining assembly.
It’s a visual explanation. On its own it doesn’t prove technical accuracy or replace checked engineering documents.
Mechanism & how-it-works animation
Some things only make sense once they move.
A valve opening, a gearbox turning, a lid sealing, parts inside working in sequence. Animation can show the order of events that words struggle to describe.
Illustration, not simulation. A how-it-works animation shows what happens. It isn’t an engineering simulation, and the motion is only as accurate as the specs behind it.
Industrial & manufacturing products
Too big to carry in. Far too complex for a brochure.
Machinery, components and engineered equipment often get sold to people who never see them in person before buying. Animation can show the whole machine, how it’s built, chosen internal details and what it does.
What helps us get it right
- CAD files or 3D models, if you have them
- Approved drawings and technical specifications
- Photos or video of the real product
- Notes on which internal details can be shown
- Review notes from your engineering team
Not every CAD file can be used straight away. Some need simplifying or rebuilding for animation. Engineering accuracy depends on the information you give us and your team’s review.
Consumer products & product visualisation
For the product page, the launch and the scroll.
Kitchen appliances, tools, packaging, electronics, furniture. Designed products gain from close-up views, feature explanations and launch material that looks the same everywhere it shows up.
The right approach depends on the product, the audience, your source material, the look you’re after and where people will watch. A vertical cut for social, a square one for marketplaces and a wide version for the website are often planned together.
Product details worth a closer look
Where should the camera slow down?
Pick a detail. Every product has a few things worth lingering on, and the film should know which.
Surface & material
The finish, the texture and how light behaves on it: brushed, matte, clear, coated.
Camera: a slow raking pass with low light to show texture.
The final look follows the reference material you supply and the agreed creative direction. It doesn’t promise the materials will look exactly real.
The product film library
Pick a category. Choose a film.
Our portfolio films are being prepared for this page. Each slot shows the type of film it will hold.
One product, four explanations
Same water pump. Four different films.
Picture a made-up domestic water pump. What you show depends on who’s watching and what they need to understand.
Beauty film
Slow orbits, soft light and close details make the pump look well made and desirable. No internals, no labels.
The viewer should leave knowing: that this is a premium, carefully designed product.
A made-up product. Film slots show the matching portfolio category once it’s available.
Where 3D product animation fits
One production, lots of destinations.
With good planning, one 3D model and its footage can serve several channels. The best deliverable depends on where it goes, who watches and the format. We can’t promise engagement or sales, only a clearer explanation.
Product landing pages
Short loops, or a hero film next to the specs.
Digital advertising
Cut-downs sized for every platform.
Sales presentations
A film that explains before the questions begin.
Trade-show displays
Big-screen loops you can read from across the room.
Product-launch materials
A matching set from one production.
Distributor & reseller communication
Training and explanation for your sales channel.
Social media
Vertical and square edits.
Website product pages
Embedded films that load only on play.
For B2B sales and technical explanations
When buyers need to understand a product before they’ll talk to sales (what it is, how it works, which features matter, what makes the design stand out), a well-planned animation can do some of that explaining. Manufacturers, equipment suppliers and technical product firms use it in proposals, distributor training and trade shows.
It has to rest on the right product information and be checked by people who know the product.

What to provide before production
The better the references, the closer the first draft lands.
None of these is required for every project. What you can provide affects what’s possible and how much work it takes. A usable CAD file saves modelling time; photos alone mean more of the model is built by hand.
Photographs
From several angles, details included.
CAD files or 3D models
Where available—STEP, IGES, OBJ, FBX and similar.
Drawings or specifications
Dimensions, materials and tolerances, where they matter.
Reference videos
The real product in use, or films you like.
Feature priorities
What must the viewer notice?
Audience & objectives
Who is watching, and what should they understand?
Brand guidelines
Colours, fonts, logo use.
Length & formats
Target length and where it will play.
Understanding the storyboard
Every second is planned on paper before it’s rendered.
A storyboard fixes the order, camera moves and emphasis before detailed work starts, while changes are still cheap. Step through an example 30-second board.
Shot 1 · 0–3 s
Opening shot
Darkness, then the product edge catches light. Sets the mood.
Decision to agree: mood and colour of the opening.

What affects cost and timing?
A 30-second film can take a week or a whole season.
There’s no standard package. Tell us about the product, what you need to explain, the references you have and where it will be shown, and we’ll scope it.

In Vadodara
3D product animation for Vadodara businesses
Vadodara and the estates around it make a lot of products that are hard to explain in a photo. Machinery makers build pumps, valves, gearboxes and process equipment with the interesting parts hidden inside. Pharma companies need to show a process or a piece of equipment step by step. Agri-input and pesticide manufacturers have to explain to dealers and farmers how a product should be mixed, applied or dosed.
Animation does that job well. A machinery maker can open up a mechanism with an exploded view instead of a cutaway drawing. A pharma company can walk a buyer through a sequence that is impossible to film. An agri-input manufacturer can give dealers a short, clear clip that plays on a phone as well as in a meeting. Any technical or regulated claim is reviewed and signed off by your own experts before it goes out.
We can work from existing CAD files or build a model from drawings and photos, and we plan vertical, square and wide versions together so one production covers presentations, WhatsApp and your website.

Frequently asked questions
Before you brief us on a product film.
So what is 3D product animation?
Moving images made from a three-dimensional digital model of a product, showing it from any angle, revealing chosen details or showing how it works.
What’s the difference between product animation and product visualisation?
Visualisation usually means still renders or interactive views; animation adds movement and sequence. Plenty of projects include both from one model.
Can animation show internal components?
Yes, through exploded views, cutaways and transparency, based on the information you give us and agree to show.
Can existing CAD files or 3D models be used?
Often. Some files need simplifying, repairing or converting before they work for animation, so we review them first.
What if a 3D model isn’t available?
We can build one from photos, drawings and measurements. That takes more effort, and accuracy depends on the references.
How long does a project take?
It depends on complexity, source models, length, number of shots and review rounds. We give a realistic schedule after scoping.
What influences the cost?
Geometry, source material, number of shots, how complex the animation is, style, length, revisions and formats. See the factors above.
Can the video be used on a website or in a sales presentation?
Yes. We deliver formats that suit each destination, agreed up front.
Can different versions be produced for different channels?
Yes. Vertical, square and wide edits are usually planned together from one production.
How are technical details reviewed?
People on your side who know the product review the model, storyboard and drafts. Engineering or regulated claims need their sign-off.
How are revisions handled?
The number of revision rounds is agreed in the scope, with combined feedback at every review stage.
Are you a 3D product animation company based in Vadodara?
Yes. Patel Software is based in Vadodara, Gujarat. We take on projects from across Gujarat and, working remotely, from anywhere in India.
Can we meet in person in Vadodara?
Yes. The first conversation can be in person in Vadodara or online, whichever suits you. Write to hello@patel.software to set it up.
How soon can a first 3D animation be ready?
It depends on the product’s complexity, whether CAD files exist, the length, the number of shots and the review rounds. Starting with one short film or a set of renders is the quickest way in. We give a realistic schedule after scoping.
